ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA OF BOZHOU CONCEPTUAL PLANNING AND URBAN DESIGN

Site: Bozhou city of Henan province

Area: 6247ha

Four cores with points, the core guiding the site.

Four cores —— commercial and resident service center, comprehensive service center, commerce service center, Wohe leisure center.

Points: making public facility junctions surrounded each area, to ensure each area having the matched facilities.

The core guiding: Regarding Wohe comprehensive service center and travel service leisure center as the leading, combining different commerce leisure service functions, creating service center of this city, to guide planning area to build complete public service system.

XUCHANG CITY CENTRAL AXIS URBAN DESIGN

Site: Xuchang city of Henan province

Area: 605ha

Awards: winning the bidding in China project competition

Lotus is the symbol of Xuchang city. Therefore, the design conception is base on the lotus. The layout is mainly designed as modern and concise style. The symmetry and annulus are the main layout on the graphic. And there is no special design on the back of the building to show the right side of Art Center for the surrounding building. At the same time, a land mark with suitable height can be seen on the end of axle wire. The petal of the lotus is designed as the annex of main building, and has different function.

ZIZHONG CITY URBAN DESIGN

Location: County of Zizhong, Sichuan
Area: 2.7 Sq.Km.

This project includes Bashu landscape avenue, Yingzhou pavilion, Zhuangyuan street district, tourist distribution center, the transportation junction of Panshi avenue and five important site junctions.

In order to satisfy the requirement of Yuanyang city economy development, remit the problems of old city development, deepen the planning, adjust the last planning, Yuanyang new city should improve utilization of the land use, emphasize urban image, make suitable economic and technical indicators to guide the development of new city, and create future administration, economy and culture center of Yuanyang county.

Guanghui Agriculture Demonstration District in Shengyang

Site: Shengyang city of Liaoning province

Area: 4870ha

Creating introverted spatial group organization: flexibility, productivity, interactivity, expansibility.

Transforming residential area to tourist attraction: settlement and aggregation, connection and integration.

Production and residence pattern:

Deindustrialization design (emphasize otherness of product) + industrialization construction (emphasize the serial of product), combine peculiarity and systematic.

Commerce (urban commerce): changing to become main product (keep in good health, leisure, vocation, travel).

Landscape: changing from concentrated to separated, changing from artificial to natural.

Life: changing from residence to life, changing from residence of 12 hours to the life of 24 hours, changing from simple residence to compounded life.

JINGSHA ENTENSION LINE URBAN DESIGN

Site: Zhengzhou city of Henan province

Area:1020ha

According to the last planning, making sure project site — the main function and items of this site, providing detailed design and urban guidance. At the same time, making the survey for the transportation organization, village retrofitting, landscape design, and so on.

ERDOS-JIANGSU INDUSTRIAL PARK

Location: City of Erdos, Inner Mongolia
Area: 20.13 Sq.Km.

This project is next to Yijin Holuo town, and it is 10km from Azhen town.

Planning：the organization is “ one core, two axles, four sections”.

One core: The large greenbelt of central service area is designed as the core of ecological development area.

Two axles: Emphasizing north-south service development axle by two sides of central green area. Building the spatial connection of southern and northern areas. And creating production development axle of the beginning zone by the commerce of two sides of Wei fifteen Road. These two axles making development organization of beginning zone.

Four sections: Improving central service area of central production, guiding innovative technology, creating various beginning zone of north-south industry area.

Function: developing high-end industry, bio-pharmaceutics industry, electric information industry, and so on. And the meeting, the exhibition, the culture, the travel, and other modern service industries to supplement the industry of this project area.

Planning and Urban Design of New Chaohu City Center

Location: City of Chaohu, Anhui
Area: 1500 ha

The planning will use the Chaohu image to be theme of new city area, to make special local character. At the same time, the function will be ecological and various to adapt the requirement of urban development. Making the lake to emphasize the landscape function, to create landscape core area. And adding urban functions to this landscape area, to create function center, and leading the development construction of the whole waterfront area.

The concept design of Wuhan Jiangxia Cloud Center

Site: Wuhan city of Hubei

Area: 8.4ha

The building group is divided into three different building height. The 1st building height is decided by lots of retailing architecture and high-rise architecture podiums, these buildings make the important streets and the square interface. The 2nd building height is between 60m and 100m, all the buildings in the 2nd height are high level architectures that are about 50m, 70m, 100m. These different high level buildings create diversity building views. The 3rd building height is a super high-rise building that is the land mark of this project site. It is located in the end of the landscape avenue, and creating the peak of the skyline.

The most important office building of Cloud center is Cloud Building that is 199m. The design style of Cloud Building is not only a typical image of the local, but showing the dream of media entrepreneurs. The architecture inspiration should be related to Chinese traditional drawing, stories, natural scenery, trying to make a creative, natural prospect.

The design is base on “Eagle city” culture, trying to create a ecological urban area with countryside character, business leisure, travel, holiday, medicinal life, intelligence, and logistics.
